Canada has many underrated, secret wonders. No matter what season it is, there is no need to leave the country to find the perfect vacation spot. The Canadian Rockies: 
This destination has something for everyone, not to mention the absolutely gorgeous scenery. Whether you prefer hiking, skiing, or maybe relaxing in Banff’s natural hot springs, this is guaranteed to be an amazing vacation destination. Both Banff and Jasper national parks offer many hikes from easy to advanced. In Banff you can check out the Banff Centre for the Arts which frequently hosts concerts and interesting art exhibits. Then, just a short walk from the Banff Centre you can stop off for lunch or tea at the luxurious Banff Springs Hotel.

Lake Louise, about a half and a half from the city of Banff, is one of the most popular and also breathtaking lakes in the Rockies. Here you can take a scenic up the mountain to two small tea houses and enjoy a nice snack before making your way back down.

The Columbia Icefields is also another attraction you will want to stop over to see. Here you can view six massive glaciers.

Old Quebec City: 
Quebec City is a hidden French treasure within Canada. Filled with historic buildings and interesting landmarks, this quaint city offers a very European vibe. Musée de la Civilisation will walk you through Quebec’s history. Montmorency Falls Park is another must see attraction. This falls is actually higher than Niagara Falls. Also, take a walk through the Petit Champlain District, filled with all kinds of quirky, delightful and unique boutiques.

The Bay of Fundy: 
The Maritimes are often forgotten, however, they are some of Canada’s most naturally beautiful and quaint provinces. See enormous tides and scenic water views. The Bay of Fundy also offers excellent whale watching. An especially ideal location for camping and kayaking.

Vancouver/Victoria: 
This two British Columbia metropolitan cities offer many interesting attractions, in addition to being two of Canada’s most aesthetically appealing cities. British Columbia offers many cruises as well as a thriving cultural young. Take the ferry from Vancouver to reach Victoria. Victoria is filled with beautiful lakes and beaches – a great place for families to visit.

Ottawa: 
Our national capitol, Ottawa is another metropolitan Canadian city. If you haven’t already been to the country’s capitol, this should be your next vacation destination. A very family friendly and bilingual city, Ottawa offers a delightful market, ByWard Market and many art and historical museums about Canadian history. In addition, you can stopover at Parliament Hill and take a tour of Canada’s Parliament.
